BEFORE CHANGING MATERIAL

What is limiting roller life?

Look at the wear pattern and whether the shell, bearings or seals are failing first. The shell material is only one part of the specification.

Steel is already lasting well
Compare complete-roller weight, quoted price and replacement cost before changing a satisfactory arrangement.
Corrosion, handling, noise or belt protection
These are the practical reasons to consider HDPE. A percentage weight difference is less useful than the actual kilograms you handle.
Severe shell abrasion
Consider UHMWPE where measured wear and costly change-outs justify the higher material cost. Wet conditions alone do not justify the additional cost of UHMWPE.

A few practical details.

Can I submit without every measurement?

Yes. Leave unknown measurements blank and identify the information you need help with. Include at least one measurement, a part number, an attachment or a useful description. Missing details must be confirmed before supply.

Does the form place an order?

No. It sends a request for review and quotation. Dimensions, configuration, suitability, quantity, lead time and price must be agreed before an order is accepted.

What should I include for a garland set?

State whether the quantity is individual rollers, complete sets or connection components. Include the number and arrangement of rollers in the notes. Add separate dimensions or a labelled drawing when the centre and wing rollers differ, and complete only the relevant link or connection details.

Are all listed sizes and options in stock?

The brochures list product information and combinations, not live inventory. Confirm the selected configuration, complete-roller ratings, availability and lead time. State flame-retardant or antistatic requirements with the enquiry.
