Fabric, steel cord, solid woven, polyurethane, PVC and profiled belting. Belt supply, splicing and replacement work from Mackay.

Choose the belt construction or application. We confirm dimensions, materials, joint details and the required installation scope before quotation.
Textile reinforcement
Multi-ply rubber belting for plant conveyors, feeders and bulk-material handling. Specify the carcass, covers and splice together.
View belt range ↗Longitudinal reinforcement
Steel-reinforced belting for longer and higher-tension conveyors. Check cord construction, transitions, pulley diameters and splice design.
View belt range ↗Impregnated woven carcass
An integrated textile carcass. Confirm the cover construction, joint system and any required fire-resistance and antistatic documentation.
View belt range ↗Process and machine belting
Polyurethane and PVC belting for processing, packaging and machine conveyors. Match the surface, backing, joint and fittings to the application.
View belt range ↗Civil and inclined conveyors
Profiled belts for road-profiling machines and other inclined conveyors. Identify the machine, conveyor position, pattern and base-belt specification.

Sidewall, reinforced and application-specific belting. Send the existing sample, drawing or operating requirements for review.
View belt range ↗CIVIL & ROADWORKS
Pickup, transfer and discharge conveyor belts are specified for the machine and the material being milled. Send the machine details and an existing belt reference.

Cleat height and pitch, clear edge widths, finished length and the joint all need to match. The same machine may use different belt constructions in different conveyor positions.
Chevron and cleated belts ↗CARCASS • COVERS • SPLICE
Select the reinforcement for the tensions and conveyor geometry. Select the covers for the material and the way the belt is wearing. Check the splice as part of the same specification.
| Selection area | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Fabric / steel cord | Reinforcement for the conveyor tension, geometry and joint design. |
| Solid woven | Integrated woven construction, cover formulation and joint requirements. |
| PU / PVC | Surface and backing, product handling, cleaning and machine arrangement. |
| Chevron / cleated | Pattern, base belt and the full inclined or machine conveyor path. |
| Specialty | The existing design, sample and operating requirements. |
Record whether the present belt is wearing through its cover, splitting at an edge, separating between plies, losing cord adhesion or failing at a splice. A thicker cover will not correct a damaged structure, off-centre loading or a pulley that is too small.
The belt designation describes nominal strength. The working tension permitted on the conveyor also depends on the selected splice, operating conditions and design basis. Starting and braking loads need checking as well as normal running tension.

REPLACEMENT SPECIFICATION
Cover wear, cuts, edge damage, exposed reinforcement and splice failures need different checks. Send the wear pattern and service history with the existing belt designation.
Confirm the loading and mechanical condition before changing the belt specification.
Covers and application checks ↗SUPPLY NETWORK
We work with selected belt manufacturers. Your specification, supply and installation requirements are handled through Superior Conveyors.

The belt ranges shown are not limited to these suppliers. The manufacturer and product specification are confirmed for each order.
A current designation, photograph or drawing helps identify the replacement. Unknown measurements can remain blank.
