Polyurethane and PVC belts, with the surface, backing, joint and fabricated features selected for the conveyor.
Polyurethane is used in fabric-backed and homogeneous belt constructions. Suitable grades provide a wear-resistant conveying surface for processing and machine applications. Confirm the actual grade, backing and joining method rather than ordering by colour alone.
PVC-coated fabric belts provide an economical option for many general conveying and packaging applications. Surface texture and backing are selected for grip, product release and the conveyor support arrangement.
A coated fabric belt has a textile tension member. A homogeneous belt has a different construction and may use friction drive or a purpose-designed positive-drive system. They are not interchangeable simply because both are polyurethane.
Specify smooth, matt or grip surfaces; the running-side finish; cleats, sidewalls or tracking guides; and any edge sealing or perforations. Check all fittings against pulley grooves, support beds, return rollers and clearances.
Include the product and cleaning conditions as well as the belt dimensions.

Use the joining method approved for the selected belt: welded, finger-spliced, stepped or mechanically fastened as applicable. Confirm finished length and installation access. No single welding or cure setting applies across the range.
Cleats, guides and sidewalls must suit the belt material and flexing path. Check forward and reverse bending, guide grooves, return supports and any small transfer pulleys before fabrication.
A current designation, photograph or drawing helps identify the replacement. Unknown measurements can remain blank.
